We work with silversmiths in India who have been shaping metal by hand for most of their working lives. 925 sterling silver as the base, gold plated when a piece asks for it. Small batches only. Nothing made at a volume that would require cutting a corner.
The design is contemporary because that is the only kind of jewelry worth making right now. We take the craft forward. We do not put it behind glass.

About Moonvein
Most jewelry lands in one of two piles. The kind that falls apart in a season, or the kind that sits in a box waiting for an occasion that keeps not arriving. Not much in between for anyone who just wants something good to wear on a regular day.
Moonvein is a contemporary jewelry brand built for that gap.
We make 925 sterling silver pieces by hand in India, finished with gold plating where the design calls for it. Silver is the base for a reason. It is the moon metal, not gold's backup, and it holds its shape for a very long time.
Everything comes out in small batches. Each small batch reflects the material and the hands, nothing else. When a piece needs replating, we replate it. When you are done with it, bring it back and we will recycle it.
We inherit traditional craft and design for now. Not for a vault. Not for a wedding you are still waiting on. The piece you reach for on a Tuesday. Still reaching for it a year from now.
